First off: I have a !
I'm working for Click Commerce as a junior programmer, doing stuff with Javascript and C#. The basic gist is that our software makes a lot of the paperwork surrounding human and animal research a lot more transparent, so it's both easier to complete, and easier for hospitals/universities/etc to make sure they're following regulations.
It's a substantial pay cut from my last place, but it pays the bills, it's stable, and it's five minutes away from home. Atmosphere sounds relaxed, people are friendly. This is a job that won't burn me out. Thank goodness.
Second: At some point soon I'm getting engaged to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) snowcoma. Spent the last few days up by Seattle having her meet my family. It went really well, life is wonderful.
